Established on July 1, 2013, with modest capital of 200 million Vietnamese dong ( ~ USD 9,000), we are proud to be the 3rd company in Ho Chi Minh City and the 5th in Vietnam to actualize the first 3D pop-up card designs , positioning ourselves early as a pop up card manufacturer in Vietnam , leaving everyone in awe with the words: “Wow, Amazing!”
The initial phase was extremely challenging, starting with only two laser cutting machines and limited resources. Our workshop was a mere 70m² rented space. The owners, myself, Mr. Do, and Mrs. Trang, spent many sleepless nights perfecting our first custom pop up cards . I handled the design of personalised pop up cards , while Mrs. Trang managed production.
There were moments of despair as our first custom 3D pop up card products were weak and sometimes unsellable. But with internal and external support, even in the toughest times, we persevered.
There were times when customers saw us as adversaries, accusing us of deceit. However, there were also moments when positive feedback reassured us that we were truly creating value through handcrafted pop up cards made in Vietnam .
Then came the third laser cutting machine, then the fourth, the fifth, and so on. We expanded our business, renting additional workshops, gradually strengthening our position as a reliable pop up card Vietnam manufacturer for both domestic and international buyers.
But like all journeys, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, wiping out nearly all our savings as business activities worldwide came to a halt for over two years.
Fortunately, in 2022, we purchased land and completed the construction of a new factory in mid-2023 in Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien Hue Province, marking the 10th anniversary of Thanh Toan’s pop-up card manufacturing journey .
From now on, we have a true home—a solid foundation for the long-term development of Thanh Toan as a custom pop up card manufacturer from Vietnam .
